1. Ownership of Artwork

All original artwork, paintings, prints, designs, digital images, graphics, logos, branding, text, and creative content featured on this website are the exclusive intellectual property of ArtByJohnte unless otherwise stated.

All rights are reserved.

2. Purchase of Artwork Does Not Transfer Copyright

When you purchase original artwork, prints, or commissioned work, you are purchasing the physical item or approved deliverable only.

You are not purchasing the copyright, reproduction rights, licensing rights, or commercial rights unless explicitly granted in writing.

Copyright ownership remains with ArtByJohnte.

3. Prohibited Uses

Without prior written permission, you may not:

  • Reproduce artwork in any format

  • Scan, photograph, or digitally copy artwork for resale or distribution

  • Create prints, posters, merchandise, NFTs, or derivative works

  • Use artwork for branding, advertising, or commercial purposes

  • Modify or alter artwork for public or commercial use

  • Use website images, product photos, or branding assets

4. Personal Display Rights

Customers who purchase physical artwork may display the purchased piece in private homes, offices, or personal spaces.

Ownership of a physical piece does not grant rights to reproduce or commercially exploit the artwork.

5. Commercial Licensing Requests

If you would like to use any artwork for:

  • Interior design projects

  • Hotels or hospitality spaces

  • Publications

  • Album covers

  • Branding campaigns

  • Merchandise

  • Collaborations

Please contact ArtByJohnte for licensing terms and written approval.

Separate licensing fees may apply.

6. Commissioned Artwork Rights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • The artist retains copyright ownership of commissioned works

  • The client receives ownership of the final purchased physical piece or agreed deliverable

  • Commercial reproduction rights are not included automatically

Licensing may be negotiated separately.

7. Social Media & Sharing

Customers may share purchased artwork on personal social media accounts if proper credit is given to ArtByJohnte.

Commercial pages, monetized content, or advertising use requires permission.

8. Copyright Infringement

Unauthorized use of any artwork or content may violate copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

ArtByJohnte reserves the right to pursue takedowns, legal remedies, damages, and enforcement actions where necessary.
